Hello everyone, some updates in random order: 1. I edited the info pack (same link, don't worries), cleaning some minor grammar errors and shortened the URLs, especially for the form. I suggest to you the shortened version (the long versions are still working) 2. each group has to write in their form the deadline for the application. We forgot to have a discussion on this so each group will decide by themselves. If you have problems editing the form please let me know. I will check with all groups in few days 3. responses have started to arrive, I suggest to delete the tests that some groups have. 4. unfortunately, we have not yet visited the place for the accommodation: the priest recently changed and we will meet him the second week of March. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any issue, the publicity for a broader selection of participant is crucial. Hello everyone, thank Sasha for the introduction. Same disclamer applies to this email: please read it careful. How the selection process will work? All documents will be on our shared drive. Each group will have n individual form. All the applications will be stored on the shared drive and each group will be in charge of making the decision for the participants from their country. The infopack will be a pdf file with the links to 6 forms. To publicise DEEP-T the groups can share either the infopack or the local form. They have been both revised, please double check if you are happy with them. (NB: they are draft versions, we can always modify them before May). 4. we decided to keep the information regarding money (reimbursement and solidarity fees) at minimum. These information will be shared after the selection process by each local group. 5. regarding covid we do not have any question on the form. However, in the infopack we stated very clearly that "Each participant should check the travel requirements and the COVID regulation in the hosting country (Italy)." Each participant has too coordinate with the local groups regarding the borders regulation. NB: Damatrà is a working place and by law in Italy in order to enter you have to be vaccinated or had the covid in the last 120 days. Tests are not enough. People from Damatrà are in charge of the cheking this by law. I think that I said everything. If something is not clear please let me know as soon as possible. I would like that we close these two documents for Sunday night and go live on Monday. I would like to inform you all that on Thursday we (me, Federico and Milja) had a meeting regarding the open call procedures and info pack. hello everyone: i propose a quite subtatinal change to the description of the info pack, which i think should work better for the potential participants, Let me know what you think and feel free change. also i think it's a good idea to put some links to an introduction to social ecology, a link to the complete program of the week, and the link to the safer space policy. however i don't know which short social ecology introduction to propose, and don't quite know if make sense to put a draft of the program. start description This project DEEP-T aims to explore with our young participants what are the ecological and climate crisis, and how to deal with them in a socially just way; You will have the opportunity to discover relevant topics such as the EU Green Deal, degrowth and zero waste. Moreover, you will engage with practical activities such as permacutlure or art production as tools for the social change. Once acquired, the theoretical and practical tools,you will use them for the creation of new ideas and projects. The week long program will be intense, no doubt, but don’t despair, we will have time to know each other and enjoy yourself. The conceptual frameworks that will guide this learning experience are “social ecology” and “ecological literacy”. Social ecology is all about redesigning the interaction between humans, environments and living world in a just, sustainable and imaginative way. Ecological literacy is fundamental to make sense of the economic, political and ecological processes as interconnected (to start diving into this macro-topics right away, look at this introductions). [put links for introductions] The week will be divided in 4 phases: 1) discovering: the activities under this group focus on understanding key concepts such as the various crisis, EU Green deal, get to know each other and the place where we’ll live. 2) engaging: this phase is all about experiencing; be it thought visiting of the local grassroots projects, or the collective elaboration of the learned concepts. 3) transforming: it’s about taking acquired tools and connections and using them to create something, in our case new projects to further our ecological and social values. 4) evaluation: means activities to critically asses what worked, what didn’t, dealing with conflict. To understand better how this phases will take concrete form in the project, take a look at the complete program of the seminar [put link program]. This projects wants to be welcoming and inclusive fore everyone, for this reason we adopted the safer space policy, which simply is about the behaviors that we want and don’t want during the project. regarding vaccine

Hello everyone, during Activity 1 we spoke about requiring the covid vaccines to the participants because we are unable to cover the costs for everyone for entry and exit molecular test. I recall that we spoke about putting (or not) a question on the form but the minutes are incomplete and there is nothing about it. So, what shall we do? Given that we cannot see the future but we are expecting a better situation with the Spring, which are the conditions for you all to come in Italy?
