hi all,
i want to let you know that i may leave the deep-t camp 1 day before the official end if the date of the "università della terra"( "university of the land") and of the camp overlap. università della terra is an event organized by mondeggi ( a squatted ecovillage) where many ecological groups will converge for 3 days of learning and connecting toghter, as such is an important occasion for me. i will leave only if you can cope with my absence reasonably well and there are not project ending problems.
thanks for listening

Hello everyone,
could each group give an update on their selection process? How many applications/if they have closed it/any issue?
So far the Italian team has received 9 applications and we will close the module on the 1st of April. Planning to take a decision few days later, already now we have evaluated the candidates.
Cheers

Hello again!
Ι have a question about travelling.
Is it possible a person to trave from a country that is not the one of
their residency? A candidate asked me if is possible to arrive from
Germany.
As I remember from Activity 1, is obligrtory one of the trips to be from/to
the residency country. I just need a quick confirmation before reply to the
person.
Also I need to inform you that the train company of Greece has stopped
operating all the international routes. Practically this means that for
travelling Green we have to take the boat (20h).
When we have the final participants confirmation, we have to set how we can
all arrive there. I was thinking about a "hybrid" model. We can talk about
in the meeting also.
Looking forward for the answer.
All the best
Natasa
No need of an y insurance for the activities/damages.
Maybe they have to have something health-related if they get sick.
I hope that this help

Oggetto: Re: [Deep-t-orga] updates from the venue
Good morning!
Thank you Federico for all this!
The place looks very nice.
The only question I have is about point 12. The fact that they provide insurance is fantastic! Do we have to ask participants to have the Eu insurance card or is not obligatory?
All the best

Hello everyone,
some updates from the visit to the venue that I and Giada visited this week.
1. this is the address https://www.google.com/maps/@46.1021517,13.1144121,3a,75y,336.97h,81.81t/da… only few hundres meters from Damatrà
2. the building is owned by the local Christian church. It was recently refurbished by the municipality to host the local elementary school while there were refurbishing the "official" building.
3.
4.
5. the space is big and we can use it for both sleeping/eating and some activities (inside/outside). Possible division of the space: A. at the ground floor: big room (a gym) for male dormitory, big but less big room for refectory (with also sink/water), 3 rooms for activities. B. upstairs: 2 big rooms for female dormitory, a room for not too big meetings.
6. we will sleep on the floor covered by linoleum. people have to bring their sleeping bag and floor mats.
7. benches and tables are alrady in the building
8. plenty of toilets everywhere, we will have to close some
9. we have only one shower, this is an issue. More showers are in a gym owned by the municipality, 1km from Damatrà.
10. there is a small kitchen that needs some cleaning. there are also huge grills for outside. There are some big pots for cooking but no small items.
11. we can use the space outside, we could also play footbal/basketball 🙂
12. the building has a heating system that we can use if needed (I hope not)
13. the owner did not set a price but asked for a donation depending on how much space and resources we use (water/heating system). Any suggestions?
14. all DEEP-T participants will be insured by Damatrà during all the time, regardless where they are (this is great). No costs for us.
If I miss something Giada feel free to add.
Please let me know if you need more info.

Hey guys,
We would like to inform the partnership that Zelena Tranzicija has chosen
the candidates which will come to Udine. We are very pleased with the
quality of our candidates and we are looking forward to the event in Udine
:)
How is the candidate selection process going for the rest of the team?
Also, we should set up the meeting soon to agree as a partnership regarding
the further steps before the event in Udine? Fede, can you set up the
Doodle? Please, no meetings after 20.00.
Cheers
Sasha
Hello everyone,
every day I get anxious about a different bit of DEEP-T.
Today I was thinking about two interrelated issues: the program and the outputs (videos and handbook, check page 117 of the application).
Few things:
1. please double-check the program and your commitments.
2. who would be able to take the commitment to make and edit the videos of the classes? (we have the GoPro to do it). Maybe the Slovenian team already volunteer?
3. remember that you have to prepare in a WRITTEN FORM the material for your interventions and everything will go in the handbook. Please prepare at least a draft in advance of Activity 2.
4. deadline: we kind of agree that each group can decide the deadline for the application process. However, I suggest that each group must have made a decision and obtained confirmation by all participants by the 10th of April in order to make all arrangements for the preparatory meetings and Activity 2. What do you think?
When shall we have a meeting? Do you have any no go days in March? I prefer at 21.30 CET.
Cheers
