Hey dear people,
I was informed in details by Zelena Tranzicija members about this delicate issue.
Victoria, your arguments sound quite reasonable and they make sense. But, I will try to give my perspective on this matter
In terms of the open call related to Deep-T project, and generally, the scope and logic of the Erasmus as an educational programme, open calls are basically open to everyone. The criteria for selecting participants in the open call in the Erasmus project can be: geographical and economic obstacles, people with disabilities and marginalised groups such as migrants and minorities. In Deep-T application, we have selected that we will comply with the criteria of economic and geographical obstacles.
As organizations handling the open call for our countries in the project, we can apply our organisational criterias in selection of the participants. But, I have never seen that some organization applies restrictive criteria, such as, that if you are an artistic organization, you will "open" the open call only to artists in your country. At least, when we are talking in terms of the Erasmus programme logic. Honestly, this is also far away from the logic of our partnership which should be based on openness, solidarity, and horizontal decision making. So, basically, this is a matter of values and principles we all apply in our work.
On the other hand, generally, for the sake of the successful project implementation, and for the sake of continuation of friendly and supporting cooperation among us further on the project, we from Zelena Tranzicija will respect Attaec decision to handle the open call according to Attaec criterias and preferences. We find that it is more important to successfully implement the Deep-T project to the end, in order to avoid the project failure and regarding to it, all the problems that we will cause, above all to the Italian team, and than to all of us.
Finally, I hope that we can communicate this matter as friends and above all, as the professionals working together in a supporting atmosphere
Cheers
Sasha
