concerning the route, we are now staying in the Welten kollektiv at
least until the next Sunday I would assume as there's going to be a nice
party at the place on Saturday evening. Then we will go either to Graz
or directly to Maribor. Either way, it's pretty close to reach us from
Graz or Maribor. Maybe write to the communal number before coming to see
where we're going to be in the next days.

Yes, we are starting the planning of the 2021 ecotopia bike tour. We
have restarted the online calls and every ecotopian spirit is welcome to
join them as we would like to have more people in the organisation (send
it to your friends as well).
In the first online call we were talking about two questions: where and
when to make the winter meeting?
We have gathered these proposals for the meeting place:
Switzerland/Koch Areal, Zurich
Switzerland/Pichoux (near Undervelier), Jura
Switzerland/Arvu's place (near Porrentruy), Jura
You can learn more in details about these places here:
So far it seems that to go to Switzerland it is not required to get
tested coming from some neighboring regions. But many countries without
a border with the country are listed with increased risk. (You should
check this website to find what applies in your case:
Also officially only 5 people maximum can meet together in a house. But
if we meet discreetly, it shouldn't be a problem.
To enter Italy you need to have a negative PCR(molecular) test which is
not older than 48 hours (this applies to all the EU countries, UK,
If you are considering to come, you should vote in this poll for the
place question: https://doo.rankenste.in/poll/YfzCTgRp/vote/ The
results will be assesed after one week in the next online call. Let's
decide this together.
Make sure to vote as well in the poll for the time question that Falda
has sent around already: https://dudle.inf.tu-dresden.de/ZQJqibL2TQ/ We
are aiming to make the winter meeting between the end of February and
the end of March.
So fell free to vote for prefered options and you are welcome to join
the online meetings. They are every Sunday ot 7PM (CET) at
will not use the older /ebtforever link.)
Hope to see you soon!
Hey, I'm spreading a message from friends that some of you might know.

Some people who met in Ecotopia with others who come from elsewhere, are
trying to form a group to live together in a community in the
countryside, preferably in Southern Europe! From Ecotopia it's Iulia,
Giulia, Lino and Arthur for now. We called /it Magari/, which in Italian
means /maybe/. Everybody is welcome. /Are there other people who would
like to join forces?/**If you want to know more or take part, we write
and share documents on a Riot room and you can join the talking there.
You'd need a Riot <https://about.riot.im/> account to join the chat. If
you don't want to make an account, here
<https://meet.jit.si/PerennialPasta> is the link of the weekly call and
we can let you know by email/text when this is scheduled for, so you can
still join the call. Let us know :)
Soon we'd meet in flesh and bones to discuss about it all and to start
to look for places by bike. You can join in any way and at any moment,
if this goes on!
Most of things have still to be thought and done, for now it's all fluid
ideas and good motivation to come together with others to create
A big hug, take good care :)
Hi Charlie, I used Regiojet (czech company with yellow buses and trains)
bus from London with a bike. It was possible to buy bike as luggage there.
You just need to cover the dirty parts (chain) and maybe take the wheel of.
I hope it will help ;)

The administration of our old lists works again! That means we will stop
sending organisational messages to this list!
If you want to help with planning the tour and you are not in the bt-org
list yet, I can add you there. Just write me a message (including your
name/nickname, if it's not evident from your email address).
