Hei everyone,
Same than you, when I heard about Tika,  emotion caught me. No need to repeat she is a super great soul, I think we ecotopians know it. Just want to share thatshe  inspired me about changing name as she was using Tika and Ana. this experience helped me a lot about personal shit I have to deal with. I am thankful to the universe to have met her. But looks like shit happens huh?

Nice to read a few words for some of you I know, even in uncool circumstances. I miss the  ecotopians sharing and listening and cycling style. I am thinking of cycling in southern France/ northern Spain in September/October. Maybe I will see you on the road?

It is a sad. She was a very smiling and positive person.

I remember the first time I saw her, I instantly knew she was another ecotopian more and I went to talk to her. She was, indeed, looking for our group, hers family took her all the way down to Spain just to join the biketour. Hers best friend also sent me a sms to inform me about the new, I'll reply her to send our condolences as a group.

Last days, I have been recalling a lot that summer in 2018 with ebt. Now I am located in Navarra, not far from Lakabe. Actually, I (re-visited) Lakabe one week ago, the place where I joined the biketour in first place, and many memories of ecotopia 2018 came back to me. For me that summer and experience was a turning point in many ways, and for first time I had the feeling to live in community whereby Tike belonged and will belong forever.

Hugs and love from Navarra, Spain.

I'm also keeping Tika in my heart, thinking about her a lot while cycling these days. I'm sure she is in heaven if such a thing exist <3

Thank you Michal for shering the sad news. I spend some time refreshing the memorries of the time spend in her company. The few days in Lisbon. The squating and the diving for food and the communal sleeping. Read some old massages. And so on...

R.I.P. ..

Thanks for sharing the news Michal. I was also saddened and shocked to hear this. After knowing about it, I planted flowers and wrote a poem for her. So Kitty, I really appreciate your words and proposal, it made me feel a sense of biketour community, but personally I don't feel the need to do a virtual gathering, I did a small ritual already. Thank your for your words as well Melody :-)
I hope you are all doing well :-)
I send you all hugs from Barcelona,
Ana

Hi Kitty, I totally agree with you...
I feel like we lost a member of our family, because at that moment, Ecotopia Bike Tour 2018 was kind of my family. And it's like only the people who where there could understand the pain (excepted Tika's family and friends, of course..).
I don't know what to say.. I admired her a lot. She was so strong. So brave, and generous, spreading love and carfulness all around her. A beautiful spirit, with a flower crown...

Thanks Michal for sharing this terrible news.

I was so deeply saddened to hear this recently, as I'm sure many of us will be, who met and loved Tika and shared her wonderful company - no matter how much time each person spent on the tour 2 years ago. I don't know if anyone feels similar, but I find it strange to process this in my own head, separately from people who I shared experiences with Tika, so I wanted to reach out to the group. Even though we are dispersed across different countries and involved in all kinds of different activities and projects, I think it would be nice to have a virtual gathering of some kind, to chat and maybe say some words, memories, thoughts of / for Tika? On some video call app - open to suggestions about which. I am happy to facilitate this and try to make it happen (or co-facilitate, if others want to organise or have ideas too?) if there is interest.

Love Kitty (Sydney, Australia)
